1951 Studebaker Commander Land Cruiser

This fine automobile was and is one of the most recognizable Studebakers because of its unique front end known as the "bullet nose". This model was only built for two years, 1950 and 1951. The 1951 Land Cruiser was longer in length than the standard Commander (see the front and rear wing windows), and came equipped with a V8 overhead valve engine, and a 3-speed transmission with overdrive, rear foot rests, and a rear heater - a car definitely ahead of its time.
